Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design and deploy secure, scalable, and efficient cloud architectures using AWS services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in AWS technologies, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure according to best practices, developing cloud-based solutions, and automating deployment, scaling, and management of cloud applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

The Cloud Solutions Architect will also implement security measures and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), VPC security, and data protection. They will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy secure, scalable, and efficient cloud architectures using AWS services
  • Develop cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Implement security measures and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), VPC security, and data protection
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance
Required Skills and Qualifications

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field, with a focus on AWS technologies
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services and features, including but not limited to EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnetting, NAT, VPN)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and practices
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) is highly desirable
