Senior AI Infrastructure Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Infrastructure Leader to join our Platform Product Group.

  • This leader will oversee the development of centralized AI infrastructure and acceleration solutions that drive productivity, innovation, and customer impact across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in software engineering, at least 2+ years of leadership experience, and a strong track record of upleveling junior engineers via processes and setting high standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining strategic roadmaps, managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, and mentoring junior engineers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical structure to teams and working closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
  • Managing individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with expertise
  • Mentoring junior engineers on building high-quality software and taking their skills to the next level
  • Raising engineering standards to maintain high-availability and low-latency for ML inference infrastructure
  • Optimizing low-latency streaming pipelines to provide ML models with fresh and high-quality data
  • Evangilizing state-of-the-art practices on building high-performance distributed training jobs that process large volumes of data
  • Building tooling to observe data quality going into models and detecting degradations impacting model performance

Additionally, they will have a deep understanding of Machine Learning Engineers' needs and current capabilities and gaps, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a bias toward open, transparent cultural practices.
