Web Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with web development frameworks, including Wordpress, and be able to design and develop custom themes and plugins.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom Wordpress themes and plugins as per project requirements.
  • Maintain and update existing Wordpress websites.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in Wordpress development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
  • Good understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of website performance optimization and security best practices.
  • Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Woo Commerce or other Wordpress-based e Commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX.
  • Understanding of web hosting, cPanel, and DNS configuration.
  • Experience with website migration and backups.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
