Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist - Web Application Firewall

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining various WAF devices to protect web applications from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • WAF Management: You will support and configure a range of WAFs, including Imperva, Barracuda, Akamai, Fortinet, Radware, and F5 Big-IP.
  • Threat Prevention: You will use WAFs to prevent threats, with a strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 threats, including DDoS, XSS, and SQL injection.
  • Network Integration: You will integrate network security with IP networks, working with devices like Cisco and Juniper switches and routers.
  • Scripting & Automation: You will work in a UNIX/Linux environment and use Python or Shell scripting to automate system tasks.
  • Monitoring: You will utilize enterprise monitoring tools such as SevOne, Splunk, and Nagios to inspect data packets and identify potential security issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in WAF management and threat prevention.
  • Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 threats and WAF configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
