Next-Generation Electrical System Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished Next-Generation Electrical System Engineer to spearhead our mission to develop cutting-edge technologies for the Indian defence forces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical system and power electronics design activities, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
  • Develop architecture, system and component-level requirements, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Analyze new architectures/products using FMECA, simulations, modeling, etc., to inform design decisions.
  • Evaluate and ensure design and development meets certification standards & requirements.
  • Conduct reviews of designs, documents, and test plans to guarantee quality and consistency.
  • Establish a framework for standardization of integration processes and common tools identification, enhancing productivity and reducing costs.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong foundation in power supply design, power converters, analog & digital control, MOSFETs/GaNs, gate driver circuitry, transformer/inductor design, etc.
  • Experience in multiple product development stages - circuit design, simulations & analysis, manufacturing and validation.
  • Proficiency in modeling & simulation tools such as Spice, MATLAB / Simulink, PSIM and PCB Design tools such as Eagle/OrCad/Altium.
  • Familiarity with Solar arrays/MPPT/Battery/BMS/Wiring Harness topics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Power Electronics/Equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
