Job Title: Cloud Solutions Expert

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building and configuring cloud applications to meet business process and application requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and services, as well as experience with scripting languages for automation tasks. They will also be able to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently and work out of hours when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Host Pool Management - Create, scale, and delete host pools based on user demand.
  2. Session Host Monitoring - Monitor performance (CPU, RAM, latency) and user sessions.
  3. Image Management - Maintain and update the master image used for session hosts.
  4. Scaling Plans Configuration - Configure auto scale rules to optimize costs and performance.
  5. User Access and Assignments - Assign users to desktops or RemoteApp groups via Azure AD or Microsoft Entra ID.
  6. FSLogix Profile Management - Monitor and troubleshoot FSLogix profile containers for user data.
  7. Diagnostics and Logs Review - Use Azure Monitor/Log Analytics to investigate connection issues or slowness.
  8. Networking Configuration - Manage NSGs, private endpoints, and hybrid connectivity (VPN/ExpressRoute).
  9. Security and Conditional Access Policies - Apply multi-factor authentication (MFA), RBAC, and conditional access.
  10. Licence Management - Assign and manage Windows 365 licenses in Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  11. Device Management via Intune - Apply compliance policies, configuration profiles, and monitor devices.
  12. Monitor Cloud PC Health - Check device performance, resource usage, and error logs in Intune.
  13. Resize Cloud PCs - Upgrade/downgrade Cloud PC specs (RAM, CPU, storage) based on user needs.
  14. Application Deployment- Push applications through Microsoft Intune or Company Portal.
  15. Security Baselines Enforcement -Apply security settings using Microsoft-recommended security baselines.
  16. User Access Management - Assign or revoke Cloud PC access via Microsoft Entra ID groups.
  17. Backup and Restore - Restore Cloud PCs to previous restore points (point-in-time restore).
  18. Reporting and Analytics - Generate user activity, compliance, and performance reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Windows Virtual Desktop.
  • Strong understanding of application development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Windows Virtual Desktop & Windows 365.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for automation tasks.

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Windows Virtual Desktop. This position is based at our office. A full time education is required. Take part in shift rotations including Morning, Evening and Night Shifts.
