LSF Technologist

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced technologist to lead the design, optimization, and automation of infrastructure for global teams.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience with LSF deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments. Strong expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, architect, and implement advanced features such as license fair share, preemption, and global EDA tool license sharing.
• Lead the transformation of infrastructure setup to optimize resource usage across worldwide teams.
• Architect and implement development, testing, and production environments for enhancement.
• Automate key processes such as resource utilization reporting, demand-supply analysis, and system health monitoring.
• Develop dashboards and proactive monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with global teams to deploy, maintain, and enhance solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with LSF deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments.
• Strong expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management.
• Hands-on scripting skills (Perl, Python, Shell scripting).
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure (Linux, LAN/WAN).
• Experience with version control tools (Perforce, Methodic) is a plus.
• Understanding of EDA tools, license features, and use cases is highly desirable.
