We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist

  1. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, with a strong background in automation and manual testing.
  2. A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is required, as well as practical experience working within Agile teams.
  3. The role requires proficiency in writing test cases, familiarity with Agile methodology, and experience in product development, including creating and maintaining functional requirement documents (FRD).
  4. Experience with manual testing techniques and defect management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar is necessary.
  5. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools, such as Jenkins, Git, is also essential.
  6. Prior experience in testing web-based and/or mobile applications is highly desirable.
  7. Knowledge of performance and security testing principles and tools is a plus.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and precise scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Conduct thorough functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software meets defined requirements and is reliable.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts to significantly improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Integrate automated tests seamlessly into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Perform meticulous manual testing to identify subtle issues that automated tests might overlook.
- Document and report defects with clear, detailed steps for reproduction and analysis of potential impact.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deeply understand product requirements.
- Accurately translate these requirements into comprehensive and concise Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), guiding both development and testing.
- Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process within the Agile environment.

Requirements:

- Minimum 8-9 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years specifically focused on automation testing.
- Strong experience in manual testing and proficiency in writing detailed test cases.
- Proficient in writing and maintaining comprehensive Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and practical experience working within Agile teams.
