Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our Production/SRE teams. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and scale these teams in a high-growth environment.

  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and system health.
  • Scale systems sustainably through automation mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineers to run reliable services and configure application & monitoring. Identify business objects for monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading and scaling Production/SRE teams in a high-growth environment.

Service Lifecycle: Engage in the whole lifecycle of services - from inception and design, deployment, operation, and refinement.

Monitoring and Maintenance: Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and system health.

Automation: Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation.

Reliability and Velocity: Evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.

Communication: Collaboratively work with Product Owners and Engineers to run reliable services. Configure and maintain application & monitoring and identify business objects for monitoring.

Performance Optimization: Track system performance, capacity, and use your experience to create effective strategies for maintaining and improving system performance and availability.

Problem-Solving: Identify issues and optimization potential and introduce related user stories.

Automation Expertise: Support with automation know-how to reduce the risk of bad changes.

Tool Development: Identify, design, develop, deploy tools and processes to monitor, maintain, and report site performance and availability.
