Job Title: Senior Liferay Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Liferay Developer to join our team at Travash. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Liferay-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop efficient Liferay DXP solutions that meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test Liferay-based applications
  • Provide technical expertise in Liferay Portal and ensure best practices are followed
  • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Liferay applications
  • Integrate Liferay with other systems and third-party applications
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to Liferay implementations
  • Manage Liferay portal performance, security, and availability
  • Support and mentor junior developers in Liferay development best practices
  • Stay updated with the latest Liferay DXP features, tools, and technologies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Liferay development processes
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide updates on Liferay development status
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine technical requirements
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of Liferay-based solutions
  • Work on multiple Liferay portal projects concurrently with minimal supervision
  • Proactively identify and address technical risks and issues related to Liferay implementations
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in Liferay development
  • Proficiency in Java, JSP, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of Liferay configuration, theme development, and portlet development
  • Expertise in Spring framework and web services integration
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Indepth understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality Liferay solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certifications in Liferay development or related technologies are a plus
  • Experience in performance optimization and scalability of Liferay portals
  • Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
