Optimize AI on the Edge

We are seeking exceptional scientists to develop state-of-the-art techniques for General Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) on edge platforms. This involves quantizing, pruning, distilling, and fine-tuning Gen AI models to optimize performance.

Fundamental understanding of Amazon's Neural Edge Engine is necessary to invent optimization techniques. Analyzing deep learning workloads and providing guidance to map them to the Neural Edge Engine is also essential.

  • Apply principles of Information Theory, Scientific Computing, Deep Learning Theory, and Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics to train custom Gen AI models that beat State-Of-The-Art (SOTA).
  • Collaborate closely with compiler engineers, fellow Applied Scientists, Hardware Architects, and product teams to build ML-centric solutions.
  • Publish in open source and present at key ML conferences like NeurIPS, ICLR, and MLSys.
Requirements
  • PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years of Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (CE), or related field experience.
  • Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
  • Programming skills in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
  • Strong foundation in mathematical concepts, including linear algebra and calculus.
  • Professional software development experience.
  • Prior experience in productionizing ML models and managing their full lifecycle.
