Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled OpenAI engineer to join our team. As an expert in AI applications engineering, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge AI solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement robust guardrails and moderation tools, ensuring the security and reliability of AI applications. Your expertise in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely and effectively will be essential in mitigating open business risks.

In this role, you will also be responsible for tracking and analyzing model performance and usage metrics, producing regular reports for leadership to inform strategic decisions.

Additionally, you will deliver training sessions for IT staff to expand their expertise in managing OpenAI tools and ensure comprehensive admin coverage.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience delivering training and creating documentation.
