Job Title: Loan Package Completion Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to review loan packages and create Initial and subsequent Closing Disclosures (CDs).

As a key member of our team, you will ensure the smooth completion of loan packages by coordinating with Title and Settlement agents.

This position requires 3-4 years of experience in preparing Initial and Final closing documents, as well as a solid understanding of Conventional Loans, Closing and Legal Documents, Disclosure Documents, Credit Documents, Insurance Documents, MDIA Disclosure timing and APR rules, and TILA/RESPA LE/CDs/ICDs.

  • Requesting fees from settlement agents and performing fee analysis
  • Preparing Prelim closing disclosure
  • Issuing initial closing disclosures/re-disclosures to clients
  • Reviewing flood insurance/flood certifications, title commitment, ownership of deed, loan approval, tax cert, and prelim closing disclosures
  • Closely monitoring individual closing pipeline, workload, and volume levels for maximum balance and efficiency
  • Reviewing Power of Attorneys (POA)
  • Reviewing Cash to close
  • Creating closing documents and monitoring required waiting periods
  • Requesting preclosing audit prior to Closing
  • Delivering final closing documents
  • Reviewing final closing documents and clearing to fund
  • Ability to understand regulatory requirements and impacts

Key qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent for US operations and graduation degree for India operations, with 18 months of experience in preparing Initial and Final closing documents.

A strong working knowledge of MS Office tools, Loan Origination Systems, and mortgage concepts, practices, and procedures are also essential for this role.
