Job Title: Project Manager – Personal Information Protection Act

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) compliance initiative. As the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing regulatory or compliance-driven projects in the financial services sector. They should possess an in-depth understanding of data privacy regulations and strong stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of the PIPA compliance framework across all business units.
  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current data privacy policies, systems, and processes to identify gaps against PIPA requirements.
  • Work with legal, risk, IT security, compliance, and business units to define and implement appropriate controls for data collection, storage, access, and sharing.
  • Oversee the development of data mapping and inventory to identify all personal data processed by the organization.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing regulatory or compliance-driven projects.
  • In-depth understanding of data privacy regulations (PIPA, GDPR, or similar).
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into actionable business processes.
