Opcenter Development Opportunity

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring and customizing Opcenter R&DL (LIMS) based on business requirements.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Design and implement workflows, data models and business rules based on Opcenter R&DL data model.\
  • Develop interfaces using APIs, web services or middleware (e.g. OPC UA, RESTful services).\
  • Ensure proper data flow between lab equipment and the LIMS.\
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).\
  • Support system deployment, go-live activities and post-implementation support.\
  • Integrate Opcenter R&DL with ERP (SAP), MES (Opcenter Execution), PLM and other enterprise systems.\
  • Experience with Siemens Opcenter R&DL (LIMS) or similar LIMS solutions is mandatory.\
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, Python or VBScript for customization is required.\
  • Experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON and Web Services is also required.\
  • Familiarity with database management (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) is necessary.\
  • Decision-making power and ability to define and design overall solutions for Opcenter R&DL are preferred.\
  • Participation in Agile Team Meetings, Daily, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Refinement meetings, PI Planning and PI System Demo is required.\
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.\
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.\
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development is necessary.\
  • Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is desirable.\
  • Knowledge of automation technologies such as PLC programming and SCADA systems is an asset.\
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities is essential.\
