Job Summary

Nisum is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Engineer to drive innovation and design solutions for consumer-facing iOS mobile applications. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership in the end-to-end design, development, and testing of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation and design solutions for consumer-facing iOS mobile applications
  • Provide technical leadership in the end-to-end design, development, and testing of solutions
  • Work with technical leads, managers, and Product stakeholders to define and manage the technical roadmap
  • Prepare and present potential technical solutions and advise the business on approach and tradeoffs
  • Work with developers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to understand the complex technological system in order to produce integrated end-to-end solution options
  • Provide high-level effort estimates in the absence of detailed requirements
  • Communicate solution approaches to architects, project teams, and other stakeholders
  • Keep up to date on cutting-edge technologies and effectively incorporate that knowledge into our platform roadmap, design, and implementation

Requirements

  • Proficient with Objective-C or Swift and Cocoa Touch
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

Preferred Qualifications

  • Android candidate who has hands-on experience on Coroutines, data binding, fragment transaction, MVVM etc.
  • Must be very familiar with Clean, MVVM architecture and SOLID Principles
  • Have hands on experience on GIT, SVN, Bitbucket, AWS Code Commit
  • Strong good knowledge in OOPs, Collection Framework, Multi-Threading and Kotlin coroutines
  • Strong knowledge in Jetpack Compose
  • Dependency Injections like Hilt/Dagger and other Jetpack Architecture Components
  • Experience of having worked on most common Google PlayServices: Google Maps, Location API, FCM
  • Must Know the CI/CD concepts

Education

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in specific technical fields like computer science, math, statistics preferred; or equivalent practical experience
