Wireless RAN Layer 3 Development Engineer

This is a highly skilled position that involves designing and implementing Layer 3 protocols with a strong focus on RRC, S1AP, and X2AP. It also requires developing and optimizing various Radio Resource Management (RRM) algorithms to enhance network performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Protocol Design: Design and implement Layer 3 protocols, including RRC, S1AP, and X2AP, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Algorithm Optimization: Develop and optimize RRM algorithms for coverage optimization, capacity management, interference mitigation, admission control, and overall performance enhancement.
  • Integration and Validation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and validate new features and enhancements.
  • Debugging: Debug complex real-time issues in live network environments, performing in-depth log file analysis to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Required Skills:
  • Programming Skills: Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in C/C++.
  • Protocols Knowledge: Possess a good understanding of Layer 1 and Layer 2 configurations and capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
