Job Summary:

As a seasoned SAP Basis professional, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch technical support to our clients across ABAP and JAVA systems. Your expertise in monitoring and tuning SAP environments will ensure optimal performance and availability.

  • Serve as the primary contact on bridge calls with clients, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Actively monitor and tune SAP systems to guarantee peak performance and uptime.
  • Provide comprehensive technical support for SAP environments, leveraging expertise in BOBJ, BODS, Cloud Connector, Content Server, and OpenText is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:Technical Support

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and efficient issue resolution.

Continuously monitor and optimize SAP systems to maximize efficiency and availability.

Offer end-to-end technical assistance for SAP environments, emphasizing expertise in BOBJ, BODS, Cloud Connector, Content Server, and OpenText.

System Administration

Configure and manage SSL and SSO settings, including certificate exchange, renewal, and trust establishment between systems.

Manage SAP Basis administration tasks such as transport and printer administration, job scheduling, and system operations planning.

Maintain multiple SAP instances (development, test, training, and production), ensuring environment stability and integrity.

Performance Tuning

Conceive and implement SAP performance tuning strategies to sustain high system efficiency.

Monitor system health, focusing on work processes, logs, short dumps, locks, traces, and disk space usage.

Support SAP application upgrades, patches, and client copy activities.

Requirements:Essential Skills:
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Solid hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration in both ABAP and JAVA systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP web dispatcher configuration.
  • Proficiency in SSL/SSO setup and certificate management.
  • Experience with SAP performance monitoring, tuning, and upgrades.
