Service Technician L2

Unlock your technical expertise and propel our organization forward as a Service Technician L2. In this pivotal role, you will leverage advanced knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and support processes to resolve firm-wide technology issues.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee service staff activities, providing comprehensive training to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Refer complex problems to experienced technical staff or leadership for expert guidance and resolution.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by analyzing statistical information and implementing corrective measures.
  • Maintain the ITSM KB, utilizing the service staff to research and solve problems.
  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on primary support product lines, providing authoritative guidance and support.
  • Develop departmental guidelines and operating procedures in collaboration with IT leadership to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prioritize service tickets based on established guidelines, ensuring timely resolution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Create and manage Team Member accounts, passwords, and privileges/rights with precision and attention to detail.
  • Foster strong relationships between IT verticals and collaborate closely with other staff to acquire additional knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a related support service field.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting applications and Microsoft products.
  • Associate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent education and training.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Azure certification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in video conferencing and audio-visual hardware is essential.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and ITIL Process is crucial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work extended hours and lift up to 50lbs is required.
  • Experience working in public accounting or professional services is highly valued.
