Job Title: Embedded Firmware Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team.

About the Job

This is a critical role that requires an individual with extensive knowledge in firmware development, specifically in the area of BIOS/UEFI FSP/coreboot development. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in this field and be well-versed in x86 CPU/APU architectures and associated compilation tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality firmware for various embedded systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with hardware and software components
  • Port coreboot to new platforms, including GPIO, PCIe lanes, and board fmd configs
  • Work closely with Intel FSP package source code and understand coreboot & FSP boot flow
  • Develop and maintain documentation for firmware development processes and tools

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in x86 BIOS/UEFI FSP/coreboot development
  • Expertise in C language and familiarity with industry-standard protocols like PCIe, SPI, eSPI, ACPI, SMM
  • Good understanding of UEFI framework concepts and ability to read platform Hardware and Processor specifications
  • Familiarity with coreboot payloads like edk2, SeaBios, Tianocore etc
