About Operations

The Tax Operations team is a department within Operations focused on managing our Tax Aware strategies. The team's primary responsibilities include onboard

ing Flex SMA accounts, monitoring account balances, settings, and positions,

creating and reviewing client reports, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of client reporting.

The Role

We are seeking a full-time Analyst/Associate to join the Tax Operations team. The role involves:

  • Onboarding and monitoring Flex SMA accounts to ensure they are reconciled, in good order, and maintain appropriate account balances, settings, and positions.
  • Creating and reviewing client reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of client reporting.
  • Reviewing multiple reports from vendors related to compliance, account settings, or trading activity.
  • Performing initial and ongoing data analysis related to transition analysis requests and account onboarding.
  • Monitoring daily reconciliations to ensure key account characteristics match custodian records.
  • Tracking and monitoring end-to-end process related to Investment Management Agreements and Transition Analysis.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for candidates who possess:

  • An undergraduate degree.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a financial services institution.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task, and eager to learn.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
  • Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Python experience a plus.

AQR offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
