Senior Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Pharmacist to join our team. As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

  1. Medication Management: You will be responsible for compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  2. Patient Counseling: You will provide patients with clear instructions on how to take their medications, including potential side effects and interactions.
  3. Health Screenings: You will conduct health and wellness screenings, including blood pressure checks, temperature measurements, and blood sugar level checks.
  4. Immunizations: You will administer vaccinations and other medical services as needed.
  5. Record Keeping: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
  6. Workplace Safety: You will ensure a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  7. Operational Requirements: You will complete tasks such as verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, and removing expired or damaged medications from inventory.
