About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Global Supply Quality Expert to join our team in Singapore, Thailand, India or Australia.
This role will be responsible for executing, implementing, maintaining and improving the Supplier Quality Program for their determined region and/or supply base through engagement, assessments, and food safety and quality systems leadership.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in one Quality focus area (Customer, Operations, Regulatory, Supplier, Global CoE) or related function, including Supply Chain, Product Development.
Key Responsibilities- Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with Procurement and the Global Supplier Quality CoE to ensure suppliers and contract manufacturers meet requirements and work globally where appropriate.
- Communication and Risk Management: Communicate quality and food safety risk to vendor/supplier/procurement and lead incident workstreams, complaint investigations, claims.
- Data Analysis: Analyze supplier data to develop actionable insights and communicate technical information to internal cross-functional partners.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess and identify potential Quality and Regulatory risks within identified areas and lead mitigation efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or relevant McCormick experience in a technical field.
- Certification or training focused on Quality and Food Safety for Supply Chain, such as PCQI (or HACCP, based on region), preferred.
- Experience in the Food/Flavor Industry, preferred.
