This is a long-term contract position with a leading global technology player. We are seeking an experienced Synthetic Monitoring Engineer to fill this key role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Lead the adoption of APM tooling with standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
- Develop onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.
- Integrate observability tooling to deliver unified insights.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions where needed.
- Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for synthetic monitoring.
- Drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring practices.
- Collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
- Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
