EcoSys experts play a pivotal role in streamlining the implementation, configuration, and operationalization of EcoSys Hexagon for project portfolio management and project controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and manage EcoSys portfolios, projects, contracts modules, design cost classes, coding structures, WBS, timesheet, budget forecasting workflows, change controls, and governance templates to ensure seamless integration across the organization.
  • Establish baselines, capture progress, calculate EACEVM metrics, conduct variance analysis, create dashboards, implement standardized monthly cycle forecast accruals, and leverage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive informed decision-making.
  • Orchestrate integrations between EcoSys and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, customer relationship management (CRM), sales force automation (SFA), schedulers, Primavera P6 MS Project, data warehousing (DW) solutions like Snowflake, and integration platform-as-a-service (IPaaS) tools like IICS to enable single-source reporting and unified business intelligence.
  • Design and develop portfolio and project dashboards, leveraging EcoSys reports and aligning them with organizational reporting cadences to provide actionable insights and enhance visibility into project performance.
  • Translate governance policies and procedures into actionable processes within EcoSys, including defining gates, approvals, audit trails, authorizing standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and conducting user training sessions to ensure effective adoption and utilization of the system.
  • Engage program leads, finance controllers, project managers, and data teams to manage change requests, oversee cutover activities, and ensure deliverables are met in accordance with statement of work (SoW) requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6-10 years of experience in project portfolio management (PPM) and project controls, with 3 years of hands-on experience configuring and administering EcoSys.
  • Strong expertise in cost management, budgeting, forecasting, earned value management (EVM), and monthly close processes.
  • Proven track record of successful integrations with ERP systems, including SAP, SFA, DW solutions, and IPaaS tools, with the ability to define source-to-target mappings and configure data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools, including EcoSys native reporting, Power BI, and Tableau, to create informative and engaging visualizations for stakeholder consumption.
  • Solid understanding of SQL data modeling fundamentals, Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), and other industry-standard best practices.
