About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Operations leader to drive change as part of our global team relating to the safety and security of our company.

In this vital role, you will lead Security Operations for our Amgen India Site (AIN) and be responsible for safeguarding people, assets, and operations through the effective management of physical security, access control systems, emergency preparedness, and crisis management protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Physical Security Oversight: Lead a team of internal security staff and oversee contractor security personnel.
  • Access Control: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and effectiveness of physical access control systems, CCTV, intrusion detection, and other security technologies.
  • Crisis and Emergency Management: Develop and implement emergency response plans, evacuation protocols, and crisis management strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a small team of security professionals and support staff.
  • Vendor Guard Force Management: Oversee the local contract security provider, ensuring staffing levels, training, and performance meet expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Doctorate degree and 4 years of Corporate, Law Enforcement or Security experience, or Master's degree and 8 years of Corporate, Law Enforcement or Security experience, or Bachelor's degree and 10 years of Corporate, Law Enforcement or Security experience.
  • And 4 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources.
