Senior Associate - US Taxation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our team in the US taxation department.

The primary role of this position is to review the work prepared by junior team members on moderate to complex tax returns, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery of tasks assigned to their team. The ideal candidate will foster a collaborative relationship with colleagues and managers, displaying a good level of understanding of moderate and advanced tax concepts on partnership and corporate tax returns, and continuously enhance tax knowledge through client work and staying up to date with tax developments.

  • This includes managing and leading a team effectively with minimal assistance, training and mentoring junior team members, assisting the team in tax research to develop a deep understanding of tax theory and principles, and communicating effectively with colleagues across teams.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills and coaching/mentoring abilities. You will also require experience working on US business tax returns (1065/1120) with complex situations and special allocations, as well as good knowledge of moderate and complex tax concepts, including forms like 8865, 5471, 5472 and 1116, consolidated corporate tax returns and combined state returns.

As a Senior Associate, you will have a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in US Corporate taxation (1065/1120), with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.
