Job Description:

This role involves overseeing the design and detailed engineering of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, separators, and storage tanks. The focus is on ensuring compliance with international codes and standards like ASME, TEMA, API, IS, etc.

The ideal candidate will review client specifications, data sheets, and technical documents to guarantee alignment with project requirements. This includes developing and validating mechanical design calculations using tools like PV Elite, Compress, or equivalent.

Additionally, the candidate will guide the preparation and review of fabrication drawings, MTOs, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and vendor documents. Effective team management and communication skills are crucial for timely delivery of engineering outputs.

Coordination with other disciplines like process, piping, civil, procurement, QA/QC ensures design integration. The candidate will participate in technical discussions, design reviews (3D model reviews, HAZOP, etc.), and vendor meetings.

Finally, the candidate will review and approve engineering documents to ensure quality and compliance with applicable codes, provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and construction phases, and guarantee compliance with project timelines and client specifications.
