Backend Engineering Pioneer

We are on a mission to revolutionize the way people manage their Bitcoin. As a Backend Engineering Pioneer, you will play a critical role in building the backbone of our platform.

Main Responsibilities:
  • API Development: Design and implement low-latency APIs for seamless transactions.
    • Develop real-time services for instant user experience.
  • Integration Management: Oversee backend integrations with key partners.
    • Design and maintain a resilient ledger and state machine for secure money movement.
  • Policies and Engine: Implement a policy engine for approvals, caps, timelocks, and joint accounts.
    • Ensure high performance, reliability, and observability across production systems.
Necessary Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in developing scalable backend systems.
    • Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node, Go, Rust, or Kotlin.
  • Experience with async I/O, queues, retries, and state machines.
    • Database expertise (Postgres, Redis) and modeling for data consistency.
  • A proven track record of owning systems end-to-end (from design to production).

Bonus: experience with crypto custody/MPC, Bitcoin UTXOs, or fintech/payment systems is highly valued.
