Visual Designer

The role of a Visual Designer is to create impactful visual designs across digital and print media.

This includes designing engaging creatives for digital campaigns and print assets, leading assigned design projects from ideation to final output, and revising and adapting designs based on feedback.

Preparation of artwork files for production and digital use, ensuring technical accuracy, as well as coordination with marketing and content teams on concept development and execution are also key responsibilities of the position.

Maintenance of a strong portfolio showing digital and print/offline work is crucial for this role.

Additionally, staying updated on design trends and proposing fresh ideas are essential skills for a Visual Designer.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as familiarity with Canva, is necessary for success in this position.

A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design engaging creatives for digital campaigns (social media, banners, emailers) and print assets (brochures, posters, packaging).
  • Lead assigned design projects from ideation to final output, upholding brand guidelines, typography, colour, and visual standards.
  • Revise and adapt designs based on feedback, collaborating actively with stakeholders.
  • Prepare artwork files for production and digital use, ensuring technical accuracy.
  • Coordinate with marketing and content teams on concept development and execution.
  • Stay updated on design trends and propose fresh ideas.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years' professional experience as a Graphic Designer, with projects spanning digital and offline channels.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Familiarity with Canva (for rapid design adaptation and social-first graphics).
  • Experience in designing for printed and fabricated assets such as banners, canopies, POS materials, and other marketing collateral.
  • Strong portfolio showing digital and print/offline work.
  • Excellent design sense for colour, type, layout, and brand identity.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of print production, finishing processes, and file preparation for fabrication.
