Senior Automation Specialist

Are you an expert in automation solutions and want to take your skills to the next level? We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Specialist to join our team.

This senior-level role requires a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying complex, scalable, and secure automation solutions using Workato platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise-level integrations, API management, and a strong understanding of business processes across various domains.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Technical Leadership & Strategy
    • Serve as the primary technical lead and architect for Workato-based integration and automation projects.
    • Define and implement the Workato governance model, including security, error handling, and deployment strategies.
  • Design & Development
    • Architect and build complex, end-to-end integration solutions using Workato to connect various business applications (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, etc.).
    • Design and implement scalable workflows (recipes) that automate critical business processes, such as lead-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and employee onboarding.
    • Develop custom Workato connectors and APIs as needed to integrate with proprietary or unique systems.
  • Leadership & Mentorship
    • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of junior and mid-level Workato developers.
    • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality and consistent development practices.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Collaborate closely with business analysts, solution architects, IT teams, and business unit leaders to understand integration needs and propose effective solutions.
    • Present technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • 10+ years of professional experience in enterprise application integration and automation.
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically with the Workato platform.
    • Deep expertise in designing, building, and managing Workato recipes, custom connectors, and API collections.
    • Extensive experience with various API protocols, including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.

A successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with a wide range of business applications and SaaS platforms is desirable. Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud and integration environments is a must. Workato certification(s) is highly desirable.
