Our organization seeks a skilled trainer to lead IT education initiatives.

Job Description:

As an IT Advanced Excel Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions and guiding students throughout their learning journey. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for teaching and can convey complex technical concepts in an engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ideally impart training on various aspects of IT, with a strong focus on MS Excel.
  • Deliver instruction on basic hardware and software knowledge, including computer hardware, operating systems, and application software.
  • Instruct students on the basics of MS Word, such as page layout, print functions, headers, footers, and mail merge.
  • Teach fundamental internet skills, encompassing web browsing, email creation, and online shopping.
  • Train learners on Google Drive and OneDrive, ensuring they understand how to efficiently manage digital files.
  • Foster familiarity with online meeting tools like WebEx and Skype.
  • Introduce remote desktop tools such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, and Ammyy.
  • Develop advanced skills in MS Excel, emphasizing topics such as cell references, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, pivot tables, power pivots, SUMIF, COUNTIF, IF, OR, AND functions, data validation, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of one year's experience as a faculty member or trainer.
  • Relevant industry experience (1-3 years) with a desire to transition into teaching.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience and perseverance.
  • A solid grasp of soft skill training and personality development.
  • The ability to mentor, coach, and counsel students.
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching.
  • Prior experience as a faculty member/trainer/instructor is highly desirable but not mandatory.
