Job Opportunity: Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management & Reporting:
  • We are seeking an individual to collect, validate, and consolidate technical, credit, and operational data from various sources.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing daily, weekly, and monthly management information system (MIS) reports for technical teams and management.
  • The role involves tracking and reporting on technical valuation status, site visits, deviations, and turnaround times.
  • Exception reports for pending valuations, revaluations, or deviations will also be generated.
  • System Support & Maintenance:
  • The Data Analyst will coordinate with IT and system teams to resolve MIS or data-related issues.
  • Maintaining proper documentation and logs of reports and dashboards is essential.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
  • The selected candidate will liaise with technical officers/valuers/credit managers to gather data or resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensuring proper data flow between field teams and central MIS reporting systems is a critical aspect of the role.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Suggestions for improvements in reporting formats and data collection processes to enhance efficiency are encouraged.
  • Supporting the development of automated dashboards using Excel is also required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros preferred).
  • Familiarity with housing finance processes, especially technical valuation and credit workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders are required.
  • A basic understanding of data visualization/reporting tools like Power BI is a plus.

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate/Diploma in Engineering, B.Com/B.Sc with strong Excel skills.
  • MIS certification or technical diploma is preferred.
