Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Web Development Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing and maintaining web applications using Python and PHP, as well as expertise in WordPress management with Divi Themes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing web applications to ensure smooth functionality and scalability. They will also be tasked with monitoring, updating, and maintaining WordPress websites, including developing and modifying custom layouts, modules, and plugins.

In addition, the Web Development Expert will perform regular patching, updates, and maintenance of applications to ensure security and reliability. They will administer and manage cloud-based applications hosted in AWS and Azure infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide application support for diverse systems and tools. They will also ensure that applications, servers, and websites adhere to security standards and best practices.

Furthermore, the Web Development Expert will work closely with design, marketing, and IT teams to align application development projects with company objectives. They will provide clear and concise communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Python and PHP.
  • WordPress Management: Monitor, update, and maintain WordPress websites with Divi Themes.
  • Application Administration: Perform regular patching, updates, and maintenance of applications to ensure security and reliability.
  • Application Support: Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure smooth functionality and scalability.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure applications, servers, and websites adhere to security standards and best practices.
  • Collaboration and Project Management: Work closely with design, marketing, and IT teams to align application development projects with company objectives.
  • Documentation: Generate comprehensive documentation for code, infrastructure, and processes to support team knowledge sharing and compliance.
  • API Development: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • A minimum 5 years of experience in Python, PHP, and API development.
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing WordPress sites, specifically with Divi Themes.
  • Strong experience with Linux server administration, including patching, updates, and performance monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
