Accounting and Finance Professional

The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports in accordance with accounting standards.

This includes reconciliations and analysis of general ledger accounts such as payables and receivables. Additionally, the incumbent will report to and assist the Finance and Accounts Manager regarding accounts and finance-related issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines;
  • Maintaining bills from vendors, checking, getting approval, and coordinating for their payments to be done;
  • Procuring bank statements monthly from all banks and preparing reconciliation statements;
  • Monthly/Quarterly/Half-Yearly/Annual compliances and payments of GST/TDS/other as per applicable laws.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions;
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members;
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in financial reporting;
  • Proven experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a similar role;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
