About the Role:

Syngene is seeking a highly skilled SAP PS & PPM Project System Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and project implementation support for the Projects module.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide SAP PS & PPM subject matter expertise and project implementation support for the Projects module.
  • Responsible for understanding business/functional requirements and performing gap-fit analysis between SAP functionality and business requirements.
  • Model business processes in a PS & PPM area onto the package using prior implementation experience.
  • Work closely with the SAP project team in documenting, configuring, and implementing the Project module correctly.
  • Provide support for Master Data Management, custom transactions, or 3rd party interfaces.
  • Work closely with end users in successful testing of the configured business processes on SAP.
  • Ensure that all Project tasks are completed on time and in accordance with the Project scope & requirements.
  • Responsible for imparting end-user training and ensuring that employees understand the need for SAP and can use it to boost the overall performance of the company.

Requirements:

  • Min 8 years + experience in SAP Projects Module (PS & PPM). Experience of at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementation.
  • Professional degrees (MCA/BE); SAP Certification added advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in the area of SAP Projects System (PS) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
  • Strong understanding of Integration between Project Systems and Materials Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Finance, and Human Capital Management.
  • Should possess strong skills in functional requirement gathering/fit-gap analysis, master data setup, end-user support, and documentation.
  • Candidate should have good understanding and experience in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle in relation to ERP implementation with involvement in at least 2 full cycle implementations in the area of Projects.
  • Experience with core business processes related to Projects and Service Industry related areas.
  • Certification in PS will be an advantage.
  • A thorough knowledge of different SAP products is necessary, how they operate, and how they are useful for the company.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
