Key System Engineer Role

This is a key role for a system engineer to design and develop cutting-edge space systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in system architecture, requirements management, risk management, testing and validation, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Architecture and Design: Develop the overall system architecture and design, ensuring alignment with industry standards and the company's vision and mission.
  • Requirements Management: Define and manage system requirements based on customer needs and industry standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with the propulsion system, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Testing and Validation: Plan and execute system-level tests to validate the performance and reliability of propulsion systems.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive system engineering documentation.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers to ensure that engineering activities align with project timelines and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in space system engineering.
  • Well-versed with the systems engineering process.
  • Some years of experience in a technical or engineering role, including a minimum of 2 years of hands-on system engineering experience gained through college-level projects or within the aerospace industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively balance performance, resource use, risk, cost, and schedule.
  • Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams and ability to communicate effectively.
