RightShop is a pioneering force in transparent wellness, aiming to build the world's most trusted engine.

We're on the lookout for a Backend Engineer with a systems thinker mindset who can help shape our architecture and propose innovative solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of data flows, infrastructure, and integration patterns. You'll be working on the backbone of RightLabs: APIs, data pipelines, integrations, and infrastructure that power our consumer and partner experiences.

Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining backend components, APIs, and integrations, as well as architecting data flows across various storage systems.

You'll also need to implement secure authentication mechanisms and support search/vector search/ranking and external API integrations.

Additionally, you'll set up monitoring and observability tools, remain aware of data regulations, and containerise solutions for scalability.

Cross-functional collaboration is essential, and you'll need to help design and implement the RightScore algorithm.

We're looking for a seasoned backend engineer with 5+ years of experience in system architecture and proficiency with REST APIs, caching, object storage, and streaming systems.

Experience with containerisation, serverless environments, CDNs, and WAFs is highly desirable.
