Job Title: Final Test/Process Qualification Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of our equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct final tests and process qualification for semiconductor equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for semiconductor equipment and perform qualification tasks.
  • Execute checklists and procedures, updating tasks as necessary on the tool.
  • Finalize test checklists, sign off each task executed, and ensure timely delivery as promised to our customers.
  • Collect, process, and analyze data, applying statistical methods where required.
  • Apply troubleshooting techniques to eliminate equipment malfunctions.
  • Record meticulous process documentation and production data to adhere to compliance and traceability guidelines.
  • Refine process recipes based on test and customer requirements.
  • Perform hands-on PID tuning and contribute to the development of new recipes.
  • Conduct DOE's (Design of Experiments) to improve or optimize product design, problem-solving, or manufacturing processes.
  • Pump down vacuum chambers and load-locks while ensuring safety measures.
  • Demonstrate good understanding of air- or liquid-based instruments used in piping systems.
  • Interpret PNID diagrams and make adjustments as needed.
  • Handle gases such as CDA, N2, and helium safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize experience with Kawasaki robots, load ports, aligner, and ionizer bars.
  • Evaluate ESD requirements for platforms and ensure compliance.
  • Handle delicate semiconductor wafers/panels with precision and care during processing cycles.
  • Perform hands-on tool leveling and verify lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Proficiently interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft suites are essential.
  • Experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment is necessary.
  • Ability to work in cleanroom environments and maintain health and safety regulations within the facility.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop a solid understanding of mechanical components, adjustment, and alignment.
  • Prepare and present daily reports to the team.
  • Provide input on peers to supervisors during yearly reviews.
  • Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality meets required standards.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
