Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

  • We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to design, develop and optimize data pipelines in a cloud-based environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Azure and advanced ETL design along with excellent communication skills.

The position involves designing and developing complex ETL pipelines for batch data using Azure services like ADF and Databricks. It also requires troubleshooting data jobs and implementing effective root cause solutions. In addition, the successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose efficient solution designs ensuring data quality and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python and Scala is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services, ADF and Databricks is necessary.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing complex ETL pipelines is essential.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to perform root cause analysis is required.
Benefits:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and Associate certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision are expected.
Others:
  • The role requires hands-on experience with Apache Spark and strong knowledge of cloud services.
  • A high level of problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders is expected.
