PHP Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PHP Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex PHP applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • PHP Development: Strong understanding of core PHP and object-oriented programming principles is required. You should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient PHP applications.
  • CodeIgniter (CI 1 & 4): Experience working with both legacy (CI 1) and modern (CI 4) versions of the CodeIgniter framework is necessary. You should be familiar with its features, benefits, and limitations.
  • PYTHON: Strong proficiency in Python is also required. You should have hands-on experience in developing complex Python applications, including data analysis, machine learning, and web development.
  • MySQL: Hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and managing MySQL databases is essential. You should be able to create efficient database designs, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
  • JavaScript (ES6+): Solid knowledge of JavaScript for both client-side functionality and integration with backend services is required. You should be familiar with its features, benefits, and limitations.
  • Code Review: Experience in performing peer code reviews, ensuring code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices is necessary. You should be able to provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Unit Testing: Familiarity with writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code reliability and regression prevention is required. You should be able to write effective unit tests and integrate them into your development workflow.
  • Version Control: Proficient with Git for version control, branching, and collaborative development is essential. You should be able to manage multiple branches, merge changes, and resolve conflicts.
  • API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs for both consuming and creating endpoints is necessary. You should be familiar with API design, security, and performance optimization.
  • Performance Optimization: Understanding of performance tuning on both frontend and backend is required. You should be able to identify bottlenecks, optimize code, and improve overall system performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products. Guide team members in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
