As a skilled Hardware Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of medical device development. Our team is dedicated to revolutionizing healthcare through cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.
We are seeking an exceptional professional with expertise in designing multi-layer PCBs for medical devices. The ideal candidate will have experience with industry-standard design tools, such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or OrCAD.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing high-performance PCBs that meet stringent medical device regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure designs can be scaled for production and meet quality control requirements.
- Integrating hardware components, including microcontrollers, sensors, power supplies, communication interfaces, and other embedded system components.
- Developing and testing PCB prototypes to ensure performance meets product specifications.
- Performing thorough failure analysis, root cause analysis, and component selection reviews to enhance hardware reliability.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in PCB design, preferably in the medical device sector.
- Proficiency in PCB design software, including schematic capture and layout tools.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal PCB designs.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC, signal integrity, and thermal management in PCB design.
- Understanding of medical device regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience with hardware communication protocols, such as UART, SPI, I2C, or CAN.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
