Key Account Manager Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Key Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with key customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities and leveraging knowledge sector driven relationship approaches to enhance sales and revenue generation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and Enhancing Relationships: Work towards building and sustaining strong relationships with key customer accounts to ensure business continuity and growth.
  • New Business Opportunities: Conduct market research to understand consumers, competition and current market conditions to help identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Identify new sales opportunities and leverage knowledge sector driven relationship approaches to enhance sales and revenue generation through new and existing customers.
  • Credit Appraisal and Portfolio Management: Conduct credit assessments and prepare credit proposals in line with customer requirements, working closely with key stakeholders from Risk Management to ensure adherence to established credit guidelines.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Complete all documentation and CRM updation to ensure adherence to established guidelines and maintenance of highest quality standards of documentation, client communication and process compliance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing or Finance.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
