ADAS V&V Software Test Engineer Senior Position

This senior role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) software validation and verification processes.

Job Description

As a senior ADAS V&V Software Test Engineer, you will lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to ensure the best coverage of requirements for features. You will be responsible for reviewing requirements and test cases, ensuring that they meet the required standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ADAS software testing, with a strong background in computer science, engineering, or a related field. They will also possess excellent knowledge of functional safety principles, as well as experience with diagnostic functions and fault handling.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, with 3+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, with 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, with 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop test plans, cases, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to ensure the best coverage of requirements for features.
  • Review and validate requirements and test cases to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead a team of engineers to execute test plans, cases, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in ADAS software testing, including knowledge of CAPL scripts, communication protocols, radar/camera systems, and ADS vehicle maneuvers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in ADAS software testing.
