Job Title: Senior Software Engineering Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and developing scalable and performant mission-critical web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.

In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor other engineers. They will also have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as well as a passion for automation tested code and setting high standards for code quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and develop scalable and performant mission-critical web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance on best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
  • Drive a culture of quality and innovation, advocating Extreme Programming ways of working.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participating in Agile processes and code reviews.
  • Utilize strong debugging skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in both front-end and back-end systems.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a hands-on engineer with proficiency in JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and Node.js for front-end and Express.js for back-end development.
  • Experience in technical decision making guiding the team to propose solutions which implement standard methodologies so that a maintainable product is produced.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor other engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • You have a passion for automation tested code and setting high standards for code quality.
