
Chief Talent Officer

The position spearheads the HR function for a manufacturing site, providing strategic business partnership to site leadership. It develops and implements human resources strategy and policy in support of business objectives, managing harmonious industrial relations and ensuring legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic HR Partner: Plans, implements, and evaluates employee relations and human resource programs and practices, partnering with business to understand needs and align people strategy.
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Responsible for hiring a talented workforce within tight timelines to ensure business continuity, identifying manpower requirements and planning accordingly. Ensures best-in-class onboarding experience for new joiners.
- HR Manpower Planning and Budgeting: Assists in budgeting process of all HR items, reviewing and monitoring actual spend vis-à-vis approved budgets, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Performance Management: Drives continual performance management and Annual Compensation Review, training line managers on goal setting and sharing performance feedback.
- Talent Management: Implements periodic talent reviews, ensures development/retention plans are executed, creates succession plans for critical roles, and understands talent priorities and development needs.
- Learning and Development: Promotes a culture of learning and high performance, identifies training needs, prepares training calendars, and evaluates training efficacy.
- HR Compliance and Statutory Obligations: Ensures HR legal compliances by monitoring and implementing applicable laws, maintaining records, and representing the organization at various associations related to Human Resources.
- Labour Management: Maintains a harmonious and productive IR environment, keeps track of productivity, identifies cost-saving scope, and ensures statutory compliance by manpower vendors.
- Employee Engagement and Wellbeing: Implements initiatives to impact key drivers of employee engagement, leads wellbeing initiatives to achieve holistic wellbeing of employees.
- HR Operations: Supervises and reviews all HR operations pertaining to employee lifecycle to streamline and bring efficiency.
Educational Qualifications:
MBA HR/Masters in Human Resource Management
Experience:
- 15+ years' experience handling HR functions, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
Knowledge and Skills (Functional/Technical):
- Human Resource Operations, Industrial Relations
- Understanding of labour legislations
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent management skills with ability to influence management
- Excellent analytical ability
- Ability to interface with all levels of management, especially senior stakeholders
