IBM i Application Tester

We are seeking an experienced IBMI AS400 tester to join our team.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves design and execution of test cases for IBM i-based applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test cases for IBMI AS400 applications
  • Perform manual and automated testing across functional and technical layers
  • Conduct system integration and user acceptance testing
  • Identify, document, and triage defects; collaborate with development teams for resolution
  • Analyse test outcomes using cognitive and analytical techniques to drive improvements
  • Ensure consistency and traceability across test environments and data sets

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
  • P&C Domain Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Property & Casualty insurance domain
  • Manual/Automation Testing: Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies
  • SQL: Hands-on experience with SQL queries
  • Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
