At Anblicks, we're seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Migration Lead to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the migration of Teradata and SAP BW to Snowflake cloud data warehouse.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Project Plans: Create detailed project plans, ensuring successful migration of Teradata and SAP BW to Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with data engineering, data architecture, data governance, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Lead Scrum Ceremonies: Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure the project team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage Project Scope, Schedule, and Resources: Prioritize project objectives, manage scope, schedule, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to meet project timeline and budget.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors, including Snowflake, to ensure successful implementation and integration of their products and services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 6+ Years of Experience: Technical program management experience, with a focus on data warehousing and cloud migration projects.
  • Scrum Framework Experience: Proven experience with Scrum framework and Agile methodologies.
  • Data Warehousing Concepts: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including data modeling, ETL, and data governance.
  • Cloud-Based Data Platforms: Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Project Management Tools: Experience with project management tools, including Jira, Asana, or similar.

The following skills are not required but would be beneficial:

  • Teradata and SAP BW Experience: Experience with Teradata and SAP BW data warehousing platforms.
  • Data Migration Tools: Knowledge of data migration tools and techniques, including data transformation and data quality.
  • DevOps Practices: Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Agile Certifications: Certification in Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP).
  • Cloud Security and Compliance: Experience with cloud security and compliance requirements, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or GDPR.
