As a seasoned accountant, you will be responsible for managing month-end close activities in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This entails ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with corporate policies and procedures, and providing assistance to internal stakeholders as needed.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve ad-hoc queries, review fixed asset registers, and coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit closures. Your expertise will be invaluable in driving process improvements, enhancing financial reporting, and contributing to the company's overall success.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Management Information Systems (MIS) or statutory reporting;
- Preferred experience in a technology company, particularly with subscription or Software as a Service (SaaS) business;
- Proven track record in managing month-end close processes with a cycle time of 4 business days or less;
- Knowledge/experience in Accounting Standards: U.S. GAAP or International GAAP;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel features and functionalities;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
