Key Sourcing Role

Job Brief:

  • Select and settle prices for electrical and electronic components, ensuring strategic cost savings.
  • Develop ongoing price reduction strategies, leveraging value engineering and price containment techniques.
  • Manage risks associated with suppliers, implement differential sourcing strategies, and benchmark technology and prices in the industry.
  • Source lithium-ion batteries, utilizing expertise in electronics and chemical engineering.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in sourcing lithium-ion cells, BMS, battery sensors, and battery packs, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication), or equivalent.
  • Essential skills: analytical thinking, effective communication, project planning and execution, risk analysis, supplier selection, pricing, and strategic sourcing.
